For the past couple years i've been learning music by transcribing the Cd and have never had any experience in the use of sheet music. I wanted to know if I'm missing out on anything because of my unfamiliarity with sheet music, especially Jazz. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!:)

Bingo, found the problem. I've been doing this with my toes and didn't even know it..Now I don't feel any tension in my wrists. A big thank you man for your insight! And now to learn how to hold my bass in a classical position. Thanks!
