    I really like the headroom the Aguilar Tone Hammer preamp can give me, and like so much the AGS circuit with very low gain (it has a wide range of sound). In hi gain don't like the AGS

    Tone Hammer 500 or PF 500 Tones

    I have pf500 as head and TH as preamp, love the tone of both but the pf500 has a great tone for rock blues, I think TH can be a good choice for modern rock. Now I am trying to use TH behind a old all tubes Italian made head, it can be a good solution.

    Ernie Ball regular Slinky- my new "go to" strings?

    I love EB Slinky on my fender Jazz HotRod, I've tried NYXL but Slinky are better to my ears.
