I have 5 kids. 2 girls and 3 boys. Have a beautiful granddaughter and grandson and another granddaughter on the way. Been playing a musical instrument since the 5th grad. I started with trumpet and then went on to tuba. Haven't tried to play either since the late 80's. Been playing bass guitar since 1989. I don't read music anymore. More of an ear and sight player. I would say studying modes is the best bet for any musician. Not so much the theory of it. But the tab of it and that if some says a relevant minor. Know that it is the same fingering as it's major. Tab it. Peace!
