Thank you so much! That makes things a whole lot easier! The only thing I've learned about this bass, over the last 3 years, is that it was indeed a prototype. But I can't get any more answers.

If you're thinking Peavey Grind 5, make sure you get an older one. The newer models are passive. I think they changed from active to passive around 6 or 7 years ago..
