    Interval Exercises

Well that's it, corona makes that even more difficult than it already was as I live rurally. So I guess we'll see what happens when the world ends :D

    Interval Exercises

I want to spend some time working on intervals (3rd, 4ths, etc). It's something i've done a lot, but in an adhoc fashion. Problem is that it's very easy to lose yourself in these exercises, working with different scales, interval patterns, modes, leading with different fingers, different tempos...

Two Books: Muted Grooves and Odd Meter Basics - Lost the CD's!

Don't know if it's possible, but I'd be grateful if anyone can help. I've had this books for ages an have just dug them out again, but I've lost the accompanying CDs. Speed exercises vs Alternate Picking

What speed exercises do you (others) recommend?

    Speed exercises vs Alternate Picking

I prefer to rake, it's more comfortable. However when practising exercises to build up speed, should I use AP? I ask because I've seen a number of such exercises that say yes.

    Shifting Position Exercises

Can anyone point me to some good shifting exercises? I find myself stuck in small regions when I try and do fast runs or solo type stuff? Thanks

    Tony Levin: Yes, Union

Controversially I actually quite like the songs on this album aside from the ridiculous band politics. Chris Squire plays on a few tracks, those written by Yes "West" as it was back then. Tony plays on the rest, the songs (supposedly) performed by ABWH. His parts are crisp and clear - and they...
