Sorry, I am new to all of this. Am I understanding correctly that a higher SPL rated speaker equals more volume with a lower output from the amp? meaning I will not have to crank the volume knob as high and therefor I will be able to keep my tone cleaner while at a higher volume than a speaker...

Thread title says it all. Are the Focus cabs on par with the Neo cab's? There is a big price difference, did the sound take a hit in the process? There is a used Neo 1x12 locally for about 400 bucks, or I could order the 1x12 focus for about the same price new. Thank you!

Playing out is the goal. Not happening at the time. I will start out with 1X15. :) I have been playing through my recording rig and my studio monitors fart out without clipping anything else in the chain.

I am going with the Aguilar. Leaning towards a pair of the Aguilar DB 1X15's as well. The neighbors are gonna love me! Yes, I live in an apartment. :)
