Usually just tees and jeans with tennis shoes or Vans. I also love Hawaiian shirts, bowling shirts, and rugby tops. I’ll sometimes start out in a thrift store suit or sportcoat, but the coat seldom lasts past the first song.

This is one of the first 2 of the 15 4002 series, and my favorite one so far. Amber Fireglo is such a great finish color, and this bass looks amazing. Not being willing to pay the initial $6k, I definitely wouldn’t pay the extra $4k surcharge. Or the $79 shipping 😅

For me, the best (favorite) neck profiles are the ones that are shallow in depth. And I prefer the less tapered ones on earlier 4004 models before they went to sharing specs with the 4003. I’m really curious to try a new 4003SW.

I think it’s the only other 8 string besides Chris’s one. I also played his Zon a bit, but preferred the feel of the Ranney. I really prefer my own Fernandes bp-8 to most all other 8 strings I’ve tried.

I got to try out Miguel’s for a bit. Very Nice, for sure! We jammed a bit, on the Yes song “Changes”, with him playing his 8 string Zon and me on the Ranney.
