Old thread but....my tranny just died on my 550. ..my repairer checked the amp and so far its just the tranny that is the problem ...rare but not impossible. ..im replaceing the tranny as i love the amp ..problem is 8 weeks of waiting here in Australia for the part ...but i get to use a 1001rb...

Well i dropped it off at my amp techs place ...whilst i was there we had a look...transformer is definitely cooked...so far everything else is measureing up as not damaged ...i left it at the techs place so he can track down the reason why it failed...could be the tranny just did(rare) but...

Hey guys ,any one using a fusion 550 (i love mine ) and have you ever had it massively overheat without the fail safe activate?? I am taking it to a repairer but just waiting for my cash funds to be able to pay for at least a look at .. The area that overheated is the tranny ...1st symptom was...

Hey its funny this thread came back too life ...i just got a basspod xt live ....didn't cost anything much and i only have used a b7k and chourus as effects before..i took the pod to a jam today blind and i had fun ..Now after reading nearly everything on the net about these things in the last...

In saying that sofar spending more time with the b7k over the weekend revealed many more tones than just aggressive ones ie using my frettless i get a great 70s fuzzy tone !!!fantastic ....

Cool ..i havnt tried the vintage however i imagine it would be good ..depends on what u want though ...with the gk550 and the g&l its a fairly aggressive tone i like ..the b7k works for me as i like both the darkglass breakup and the tube pre grit with gk clank....haha

Hi guys i just received my b7k down here in Australia and i love it ..i use it with a g&l l2500 and a gk fussion 550 ....iv never been into pedals before but I think iv been bitten by the darkglass bug !!!!☆☆love it ..after reading 351 pages of this club gotta say i feel the love in this club...

I love my gk fusion 550 .to me it is my favorite amp ....
