currently play an Ampeg B series 4 pro, have it dialed in nicely with a Mark Bass Compressore pedal, love the sound but the amp is 46 lbs rated at 1000 watts, playing through a 4X10 cab, I think I'm only using a 3rd of the capabilities. Eden, GK, Aguilar, Ampeg SVT3 Pro - all 20lbs or lighter...

This was actually my guitarist's rig but I dragged it around and played it like it was mine. All tube, great sound. The speakers all tilted in - one at the top of the cab, one on the bottom and other two on each side. Sound guys not using a DI seemed to think it was an interesting set up...

I've played my P-Bass for 15 years, it's a real workhorse and stays in tune even when I leave it in the garage for a month. I played a Jag at a music store and liked the neck and the gimmiky switches. I thought I'd need a lot of contact cleaner over the years because I bet they collect dust...
