I've had my metallic purple Ray 35 for a couple of years

Can someone please explain to me why the SW 2x10's speakers are in a diagonal pattern? I'm just curious, because I have no audio engineering knowledge.

Does anybody know what is up with the Mustang bass picture for the Mustang bass section under basses on Fender's site? It looks like it's lake placid blue with a maple fingerboard and a white pearl pickguard, but I can't find it anywhere on either the Fender or Squier Mustang basses.
