    DIY Stingray 3EQ Preamp

    Don't know why, but in my case I had to change the output cap (C1) from 10uF to 33uF, otherwise preamp was quiet as hell. With 33uF cap everything is great. Also changed C8 from 2.2nF to 1nF to add more zinginess and clarity to highs.
