Man, playing this bass live is almost a spiritual experience. Something otherworldly about Suhr.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but does anyone have any experience comparing the AVII jazzes to vintage ones? I've never played a vintage 60s jazz and currently own a AVII, so was wondering how they fare.

I have an Alembic which records beautifully but I almost never use it live. My Vigiers work perfectly live.

The best I've ever played is a Caprice. But it does have a J (HH rather).

I saw the seafoam green Fender Jazz he uses, a reliced Fender Jazz, a seafoam green Rickenbacker, a thunderbird and a doubleneck. Wonder if he used more basses.
