Hey guys I found this gospel track earlier today and wanted to know if can help me figure out the genre's influencing this song. So far I'm hearing a lot of blues but any insights will be greatly appreciated.

For the past couple years i've been learning music by transcribing the Cd and have never had any experience in the use of sheet music. I wanted to know if I'm missing out on anything because of my unfamiliarity with sheet music, especially Jazz. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!:)

Recently I've been transcribing a few double bass Jazz pieces on my electric bass. But the problem is that by the end of the week it hurts my wrist a little. Is this normal or would you recommend a more effective way of transcribing double bass players on an electric bass. Thanks in advance.
