    Buying a new bass guitar: Thinner neck or not?

    Hi I need a new bass guitar, 4 string preferably. I've seen many different brands and styles, but specifically, I was hoping that somebody could tell me about thinner neck contours on bass guitars, and weather or not they are worth it? Cheers
