Switched from the Kolstein Heritage and am not so impressed with the Evan, especially on the G string when I bow....just saying:hmm:

I have sent mine in for repair and they are basically saying it is shot and I need to replace/ buy a new one. I have done nothing other than use it carefully for about 4 years. At around $250 - 300 are there better systems out there. I am playing jazz. Is this technology old. thanks
