At $25 this is an amazing set of headphones for watching TV. Very loud, never had to go past 40% volume, which is very unusual for headphones under $50. But has anyone tried plugging them into an amp? Can they take the lows or will they blow out?

I'm getting complaints from the neighbours (and the girlfriend) so I'll have to start using headphones often. Since I don't have a small 15W practice combo amp, am I better off getting one that has a Line In and a headphone socket, or should I settle for a headphone amp? I find it strange...
