    Octave sounds flat

    Hey y'all I'm new here & I have a very strange question & I'll try to word it correctly... When I play, say, a low G & then play the octave G, (5th fret of D-string) the octave sounds flat to me. I've checked the tuning & intonation using several different tuners & everything checks out fine...
