    How should I start learning?

    Hey y'all. I purchased my first bass not to long ago and I'm wondering what is best to learn first. For learning the fretboard should I learn scales or chord shapes?

    Hey y'all. I'm looking to buy my first bass with a budget of about 200 dollars. I was looking at the Ibanez TMB 100 and also the Dean edge 09. Any thoughts on which of these would be the best pick or other suggestions?
