Just checking - you had the single pole piece Suhr p'ups and put the JZ3D with these? I have a '99 MIM Jazz Dlx with these pups and the surface mount pre so from John's comment below this is the preamp Fender came up with after he left. I've always found the output from this bass quite a bit...

Played my first gig with a 4 ohm GoLight last weekend having played for years with non-neo speakers (i.e. HEAVY ones!) - plenty of low end, plenty of power handling (GK 1001RB head), tight - and my back loves it.

Thanks for that - thought the low input level was the reason I was having trouble getting the Synth on the GT6B to track properly but from reading other threads on this board it looks like I'm not the only one with that problem. Cheers, Ben

I having a tough time getting useable sounds out of the GTB6 synth - any chance of passing on what settings you're using on yours?

Did a quick search and didn't find this question specifically addressed: For the GT-6B users - when you use the 'UTILITY' key to monitor input and output levels what sort of values do you see? I get input at around 2-3 'notches' and output at around 4-6 'notches' - this seems low to me...
