Generally speaking it's been my experience that most drummers are a little fast and I'm ok with that as long as its within reason, this too slow thing is difficult.

Oh believe me, I've Oh believe me, I've tried pulling him along faster by playing at the right speed myself, but you can only do that to a point. If a song starts off with just the Bass only and I can set the pace from the get go, but as the song goes along, I can feel him trying to slow it down.
