No the new player 2 have rolled fret edges, brought back rosewood and some other features. Fender doesn't sell the American ones new, I've thought about getting a custom Shop one though so I could have a ebony fretboard (upright bass player too) maybe eventually fender will even add 24 frets

Been waiting forever on rolled edges on a budget fender or squire and need a pbass neck anyways

Hopefully not too many dream theater songs need 24 fret

I had a black sx ursa 6 string and I still got my Douglas corvus not a bad experience

Looks like the rondo sx ursa 2 but it's got a lot lighter body which was my biggest complaints besides the pups. I made a short about it on YouTube. Nordstrands already got 6 string jazz and p bass pups ready too
