Again, thank you for the help figuring out the year. I, nor anyone that I know plays. I was looking to sell it, but after finding this thread, I have a newfound respect for these and don't want to just get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Now I see how that works. Wow, feel like an idiot. I kept looking at the M part and not seeing anything referencing letters on there.

Where can I go to figure that out? I tried searching al over and wasn't able to find anything. Thanks for your response!

There was this on the inside.

I've recently come into possession of this Kay double bass. It's seen better days, but I was trying to find out when it might have been made. I haven't found anything based off what I saw stamped on the inside. Just wondering if anyone might have an idea.
