    Has anybody ever seen a 15 string bass?

    I'm a big King's X fan, I love Dug's bass tone and just the general sound of a 12 string. I play a 5 string and was wondering if there were any ways to get a 15 string without going into generational debt trying to build a custom one I'm also left handed

    8 String vs 12 String... Do I NEED Both?

    This is going to be a ridiculous question, but I love the sounds of both 8 string and 12 string bases, but I haven't been able to justify why I NEED to own both yet. Like, they sound great, but how often which each get used on their own? Of course at 1am, I'm laying here thinking about it...

    does anybody make a 12 string bass that is BEADGC with octaves?

    I would totally love a bass that would be a BEADGC 6 string bass with a single octave string above each fundamental string. something like this but with 2 more strings I have an 8 string bass that is cool and fun to play but 4 more strings would be cool
