    Double Bass What bass do I buy?

    Hi, Im looking for a little help with upgrading my bass. Currently I have a Pietro Lombardi 4-string double bass, 3/4 size. It’s in pretty good shape besides the 3 small cracks on the rib (already fixed) and some small scratches and I’m looking for a big upgrade. But I don’t think it’s anything...

    Warwick Alien 5 string as good as it looks?

    I'm interested in the thinline deluxe Warwick Alien 5 string, but I can't seem to find reviews that aren't just promotions or salesmen. Can someone please tell me if these are quality instruments and worth the money? I particularly need to know if the string spacing (16.5mm) will be too narrow...
