'51 pbass reissue

Hey folks, I'm wondering what practice or low wattage amp would make my Squire P bass, with an alnico single-coil pickup, really shine. Considering speaker size, wattage, solid vs tube, etc. I've run it through a Fender rumble 25 but I found that amp to be somewhat lacking. Cheers,

I got the above off ebay, it is 2 tone burst, it sounded ok but kind of anemic compared to my 2003 '51 Reissue. The volume pot seemed odd, little volume until the last quarter rotation. I lowered the action, got a gold pickguard which fit reasonably well and a tugbar. I took it to a gig and it...

Seems clear that the body and neck did not start out together given the different markings (EX body/DM neck) . Also, the crafted in Japan and serial number decals are missing from the neck. Beyond that, anyone familiar with what these distinctions represent?
