If you’re looking for a Modern sound with a warm underbelly to cut through, then this is it. I just picked up an MBD 5 that has this area covered for me. Not really motivated to sell as this was a keeper for me. I bought the neck for an Aztec Gold P bass but didn’t really work out so on a whim I...

Set of 4 original Kramer bass bridge saddles. These came off a 1979 aluminum neck DMZ 4000 bass. I believe the same bridge was used on the DMZ 4001 and DMZ 5000 basses as well.
These are in very nice shape. All threads are clean and clear and the height adjustment screws turn freely. allen...

I believe the model number of this Schaller tuner is M4. I bought this some years ago from a seller that had a bunch of NOS parts from the bankrupt Kramer company. It is an exact match to the tuners used on aluminum neck DMZ 4000 and DMZ 6000B basses I used to own. I bought it to have a...

The final evolution of the Aluminum-necked bass guitar.
Travis Bean --> Kramer --> Vaccaro --> Hartke.
This is essentially a Vaccaro X-ray with a different headstock. These originally came with a noisy preamp and some inexpensive Korean pickups. I carefully removed those and replaced them...

My aluminum bass dreams have been fully realized with no. 2 of the 5 Obstructures bass prototypes:

The Travis Bean bridge saddles were sourced directly from Kevin at Electrical...
