    DIY sub cab damping question.

    I'm building a sealed cabinet for 200hz and lower. I seem to recall some data which indicated that a sub cabinet did not benefit from stuffing or dampening due to the standard materials being essentially transparent to long bass wavelengths. Anyone aware of any evidence pro or con?
