    Does anyone here use ceramic blade core pickups in their J-Bass? Curious about their sound. I have only used the traditional pole piece pickups.

    Ceramic Magnet Pickup Height

    Hey Y'all I know that pickup height is very subjective but I just watched a video in which Micheal Tobias suggests 3/16ths of an inch as a starting point for pickup height on Bartolini pickups. Has anyone tried this and liked it? Still trying to settle on a height for my EMG CSX pickups.
