dr nickel lo-riders

Dear bass friends, I have 2 basses: - Fender American Pro 1 Jazz - Fender American Elite Precision And 2 pairs of strings: - DR Fatbeams (45-105) - DR Lo-Riders, Nickel (45-105) My question is which strings would you put on which bass and why? Do you Guys have experiences or opinions?

Browsing through old threads about Lo-Rider Nickels, there's plenty of description about what they're like — a bit stiff, lots of low mids etc — but not much context given for where they were when they really sang. So it would be great to hear on which basses they worked for you — and perhaps...
