    Short scale bass question; Would the EBMM Stingray SS4 mimic the "piano" sound of a 34"/35" bass?

    It seems that short scale basses are often boomier for a given bass type than than their longer scaled siblings, so I was wondering if the 30" Stingray SS4 with that classic Stingray pickup location would be a little brighter and tighter sound than typical short scales and mimic piano-like sound...
