evm 15l

I have a Sunn 215 cabinet and two sets of speakers (EV EVM 15L and Sunn Transducers). I have tried both with new wiring in parallel and once they are in the cab, they sound like massive overdrive or a fuzz pedal. Outside the cab, they don't sound like that. They are all roughly 8ohm speakers...

I have a pair of EVM 15Ls from a Mesa Boogie 2x15. One of the is damaged and needs to reconed. Upon removing the driver from the cabinet, I see it is labelled "EVM Model 15L SIII OEM". I have found recone kits for SII but I cant seem to find one for SIII, nor can I find anything out there that...
