    fender p-bass vs strat body size

    The Fender p-bass body and the Fender strat-o-caster are similar bodies with very different routings. How close in size are they? I assume the p-bass body is bigger. I want to do a 5 string fender strat-o-caster bass maybe 34" scale and I was thinking a p-bass body with a strat style pickguard...
