Hey folks! I'm working on building my first bass and I have a ¾" mahogany neck w/ a ¼ Maple fretboard, but I don't have any hardwood leftover for the headstock. I was wondering if 1" thick pine would be useable as a headstock material or if it's too weak? If useable how long/deep of a lap...
