low tension bass kay

I have an old Kay 162 bass but the tension from standard strings really pulls the neck in a bad way and I'm not sure if a neck reset will solve the problem. Before getting carried away on working on this bass, I thought I would try a low tension set. But I can't find any strings advertised this...
