    Butcher block and cast iron pipe shelf I made for my jam room to hold a wall of bass & guitar amps & misc stuff. Finshed the maple with Waterlox, came out pretty good.

    Amp EQ Shelving Filters

    Just trying to get a better understanding of these filters commonly found in eq’s. Is there some type of standardization for the corner frequency that is listed and slope for these in bass amps? Or is it dependant on the designer? I think the corner listed is usually the -3dB point, correct?
