    Six-string flats for string-through?

    Bought my son an ESP LTD D-6, but he much prefers flats vs the shipped rounds. Having zero luck finding flatwounds that are long enough for the string through design. Hoping I’m just bad at searching, and would be thrilled to be shown the light.

    I just recently obtained a gorgeous Claudio Nunez bass that has some wooden top-mount string ferrules that have cracked. While I think they are gorgeous aesthetically, I may need to replace them with metal ones. I've searched all over the net and can't seem to find any ferrules/grommets...
