    Source for Carvin light gauge six string sets

    For years I’ve been using Carvin branded 29 40 60 80 100 128 gauge 34 to 35 & 1/4 scale strings on my six string bass. Now I can’t find these on Keisels website. Are there any non boutique (read: expensive) options besides buying on string at a time? Thanks!

    Buying Used Bass Strings?

    Ok, what the heck is the deal with people trying to sell their old, used electric bass strings? They're dead, they're cruddy, they've lost their elasticity, they don't stay in tune, they lose their intonation. This really shouldn't be allowed. Just throw them away (recycle them)...
