Hey all!
This is a cool 1/2 size ply student-model-like bass with a great sound and nice action built in Germany after WWII as indicated by the little sticker inside the body(see below). It has taken some lumps over its ~70 some years, most significantly, a headstock break. This has been repaired more than once, most recently a few years ago by David Gage here in NYC. The most recent owner, my neighbor, gigged with it a few times in an old timey band but it hasn't had much use for the last a few years. Despite all this it has nice sound, no buzzy spots and good action. Asking $1600. Pickup only. I am in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
