For sale 1 Day Old Zyex Weich

Two weeks ago I would have jumped on this instead of getting the new set. Good luck with the sale!

Just my two cents here...
Per my personal experience, you might want to try again and put more mileage on them...
I usually play about 2 hrs / day almost everyday, and I feel like these Zyex still takes around 1 month for the sound to settle. It might sound harsh and with too much overtone in the beginning, especially for the 1st couple of days up to a week. FYR!!

Some more background on my experience with Zyex...

Since they were first developed my bass has worn Zyex strings a couple times. The first time I had them on for over a year. I put them on again after a D’Addario rep generously gave them to me. They are really good strings but my bass doesn't respond to them as well as it does another set of strings. I was feeling frugal this month with the holidays here and I decided to get a new set that were domestic and cheaper thinking that I could live with the difference. I realized I didn’t want to compromise after all.

I have friends that swear by Zyex and the strings sound great on those basses. If you already know the string you probably have made up your mind that they sound good pizz and feel good under the bow. If you don’t know them then this would be a set that I would suggest everyone try if you want a hybrid set.

Yes, this set is not broken in yet, but I feel like that is more of a selling point. They are very fresh. You are essentially getting new strings at a discount.
