Made in what is now modern-day Czechoslovakia, this Bohemian bass could tell stories for days! It also has the mojo, tone, accessibility to go with it.
I have been the caretaker/owner of this bass for the last decade and have loved it! In fact, I have recorded a few albums that I am very proud of because of this bass (Videos Below).
The bass has spent most of its time in Europe but came to the U.S. in the 90’s. I am part of a circle of 3 people I know alive that have owned it, all of which were/are Air Force Bass players.
While I have owned the bass, I have had a lot of work and upkeep done. The bass has had a brand new removable neck built back in 2015, corrected the over stance, new bridge, new full circle, custom wood bumpers on the sides, and inlays.
I am asking $10,000 but am up for negotiations.
