I bought this bass 4 years ago from David Gage in NYC, it was marketed as "Juzek-Type." It makes a great conservatory-level bass for any type of player, definitely has potential to be a great jazz bass too.
It was made in West Germany in 1973, and refurbished by David Gage's shop. Nice thick fingerboard, good bridge. There were no cracks during my tenure with it.
It is currently strung with Original Flatchrom GDA and a Flexocor E. I have a pair of Evah's, Bel Cantos, or Kaplans that I could put on if requested. It also comes with a Mooradian case, free of charge.
I'm asking for $8,000 OBO.
String Length: 42"
Upper Bout: 19"
Lower Bout: 25"
Rib Depth: 8.5"
