I have another bass i’m after. If it sells, i’ll pull this ad and keep this bass. Everything here is either period correct or original to the bass. Everything dates to mid-late 1974, but the neck dates to 6th week of 1975. The bass was originally natural. It still is, but the finish was stripped and it has a satin feeling finish to the body. Prior to me owning it, someone had used some kind of tinted varnish that made the blocks disappear into the fretboard. I had the neck professionally refinished and the blocks are now vibrant as they should be. The neck has a poly finish. Period correct parts I purchased for the bass are the pickups, puckguard, and tuners. All other original components come with the bass. The only thing that is not original is the case, but it is a nice G&G hardcase. Bass currently has Nordstrand single coils in it with 250k pots and an orange drop cap. Original wiring harness will come with it. I also added an old Badass II, but the original bridge will come with if you want to swap it.
Here’s your chance to own a 4 bolt mid 70’s Fender jazz at a reasonable cost. I can weigh it tonight, but it is much lighter than the late 70’s basses that are back breakers.
