This is definitely a players bass if I've ever seen one! It's all original I believe but it has taken a beating. I just bought a 64 jazz bass so a few of my babies have to find new homes. Unfortunately this is one of them. It is Mocha Brown finish with black pickguard. Frets are worn but have life left. Pickups sound great. i currently have it strung with Labella Flats but can put rounds on it for you if you want. Let me know if you have any questions. Asking $1850 OBO. Thanks

It weighs 10 pounds. Not as heavy as other late 70s Fender basses. I'm not sure about the wood though. Perhaps someone else can tell by the wood pattern?

Based on the wood grain and the fact that is a 70's era Fender Jazz, it should be ash.
