Up for sale is a beautiful 1976 Ibanez 2388B 4 String Bass Guitar. The fireglo'w' red burst finish still shines. The ivory checkering shows some fading in small areas. It has been upgraded with authentic new(The USA Co.'s Brand Name) pups, pickguard, and wiring harness. The sound and action are amazing! It has a bolt on neck, only one truss rod, and a mono input. The chrome truss rod cover says "Ri _ _ _ nbastard" and was custom made and very apropos. I will include the Original Ibanez truss rod cover(shown in pics). When these Japanese beauties were produced they were so good they incurred the infamous wrath of some guitar companies in the 1970's and are very, very, collectable. I will include a New Tweed retro looking Hard Shell Case with Gold Plush Velvet lining. A new thin Leather Vintage Burgundy Strap is also included.
