Asking $1000 shipped. This has mostly been my couch bass I just fiddle around with while watching TV, but its secret weapon is an upgraded pickup.
In original black finish, this musicmaster has an upgraded Curtis Novak hum cancelling pickup installed (original pickup included). Pickguard, knobs, and pickup cover has been replaced (originals included, although original black pickguard has a piece on the tip missing). There’s a small chunk out of the neck as pictured, but I don’t find it’s noticeable while playing. There is a bit of a ski ramp in the higher frets. While the action is low, there is some buzzing above the 12th fret. All in all it’s a fun vintage short scale bass to play, and sounds real nice with the Novak pickup. Ships with hardshell case. My original plan was to take the Novak pickup and put it into a different musicmaster, but I’m purging most of my collection and the other musicmaster has already sold. Not interested in trades.
