This is truly one of the best necks I have played on any bass. The neck has been re-fretted and pleked; the playability is insane and harmonics jump off of the fretboard. The condition is VERY good, with a bit of swirling and light surface scratches but nothing even close to going through the paint. The pickups have been replaced by Curtis Novak with +5% hotter replicas. The tone is fantastic and bridge pickup growls like crazy. I do not have the original bridge. It has been replace with a rare black Badass II.
This bass is a bit on the heavy side at around 11.5 lbs but I assure you the tone is worth the weight!
I am not a Vintage bass player. This is the first one that I have owned and if it were a bit lighter I would definitely keep it. But alas, my aging back prefers basses in the 8-10lb range.
