For sale 1978 Fender Jazz

1978 Fender Jazz Bass.

Please read carefully... 12.2 lbs of tone, mostly original except the knobs and the bridge. The original bridge is at my tech’s, he is working on the set screws in the saddle which are stuck in place. Pots, pick-ups, pick guard, all original. Frets are in real good shape! Original thumb rest included. I used new screws on the pick guard, will include originals. Non original TKL hard case, no pick up or bridge cover. There is a small screw size hole in the back of the body. Who knows why. See it in the pictures. Neck is straight and plays very well (this is why I bought it) plenty of checking, it’s a players bass. Tone kills though. Sits right where it should for finger style. Goes from round and warm to the Jaco-e-ist Jaco tone!! Asking $1525
