For sale 1983 Peavey Foundation w/OHSC

1983 Made in USA Peavey Foundation in black. Serial #01653472. Maple body, neck, and fretboard. Original Super Ferrite pickups, and Peavey branded knobs only found on the earliest Foundation models. There's a good amount of wear and tear you'd expect from a 40 year old instrument that's been played. Weighs 9.8lbs.

Some notes:

• The neck pocket has a removable shim to help with the tilt angle. There's some buzzing in the upper frets, mostly between 15-19 but nothing frets out. Truss works as it should. Action at the 12th fret is between 2.0mm and 2.5mm.
• The rear control cavity is homemade since it was missing when I got the bass.
• Two small holes have been patched on the front of the headstock where a previous owner added extra string trees.

Original hardshell case is included. As with almost all of these Peavey cases the foam has deteriorated leaving just the plastic.
