I have for sale a 1999 Modulus FB4 Flea Bass with the original and coveted Lane Poor pickup and preamp. Has Volume, Bass, and Treble controls. Great action, tone, play-ability, truly an awesome bass. I am torn to sell it, but I am on to different basses and my band is more of an acoustic duo anyway. Comes with nice hard case.
Bass is obviously used but cared for. Has the normal nicks and dents in the usual places around the edges. The previous owner had the strap button fall out and screwed the new one above the hole. I installed the strap locks and its totally secure, but you could have it repaired easily if you wish. I also swapped the bridge for a Babicz full contact bridge, about a $100 upgrade. Strangely, the bridge has some pitting on the metal from sweat on your hands, but doesn't really affect anything about the bass. The input jack has been replaced in the last year, but this bass has sat in a closet in it's case for a while and the input jack needs some cleaning and some lovin, it can be kinda scratchy occasionally. The back cover plate for the electronics also could use some lovin, as the top 2 screws have kinda split a little piece of wood. Could easily be glued back into place. With a minimal setup, this bass will be ready to play for years to come. Let me know if you have questions!
