As shown, it has three dings, and one small finish crack near the neck pocket, plus a bit of headstock wear; overall, pretty great shape considering its age.

The bass does not come with original pick-ups/preamp (they were already changed when I purchased/traded).

This bass is not getting played and I have gone back to playing vintage Jazz Basses.

Just ask, worse thing I can say is “No, thank you”

  3. Hey, I owned this bass 16 years ago when I lived in Birmingham!! That was before the Sadowsky conversion. It was by far my favorite bass but I went back to4 strings. Great classic Lakie here.

What a weird coincidence? I have had it a while since 2018, I believe, it came from NY if I remember correctly.

Played it Sunday and it reminded me why I loved this bass so I have decided to keep for now.

Willie’s solo on Donny Hathaway Live is reason enough to buy this. Lakland also happens to make amazing basses. GLWTS!
